Leaders Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund

A special fundraising campaign is ongoing to raise the fund to $20,000 in 2009. As with all endowment, only the interest on the gift (approximately 5%) is spent, thus the annual scholarship award will be approximately $1000 per year. This will provide for two $500 scholarships each for the respective cadets. The recipients will be selected on the basis of student leadership as well as good academic standing and being an active member in JROTC as a senior or a freshmen cadet in senior ROTC. The scholarships will aid with tuition and fees. If fundraising exceeds the minimum goal of $20,000, additional scholarships will be awarded. The goal is to be able to award three $1,000 scholarships annually. To date, the chapter has received $3,596.64 in donations. Donate
